Encouraging Words…1

Psalm 34:4
“I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”(KJV)

Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (KJV)

Are you having trouble today? Is life pressing in upon you? Do you want to scream? Do it! Just for a moment, if you have to. Then remember your source. Do not be like these people who say, “God doesn’t help me, He does nothing for me.” or “Where was God when this or that happened?” God has already done something for you. He can do more, and He probably will. However the greatest thing for you has already happened! If you are saved, you get to go to heaven. HEAVEN! What a price was paid for that! Do not trust your fleshly mind and feelings. They will, and do, lead you astray. Seek God by; picking up His word, meditating upon it, sing praises, pray honestly with all your thoughts/emotions, and seek out your “follower of Christ” friends. Seek Him, and he will hear you. The choice and power is yours, if you are tired of being beaten down then SEEK Him who is THE answer!

Psalm 46
“God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah

There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.

The LORD of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

Come, behold the works of the LORD,
Who has made desolations in the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariot in the fire.

Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!

The LORD of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah ” (NKJV)
